Betsoft Gaming Releases Black Gold

Posted on by Alan

Black GoldWhether you call it black gold or Texas tea, there’s no doubt that one of the surest ways to make a fortune is by striking it rich with oil. That’s the concept behind Black Gold, the latest in the Betsoft line of 3D slot machines. Featuring the same great graphics and animations that have made all of Betsoft’s 3D games so famous, Black Gold is a light-hearted and fun slot machine that features an interesting mix of themes that come straight out of Texas.

Black Gold is a 30-line, five-reel slot machine that can be found at most casinos featuring Betsoft games. The object of the game is simple: you’ll be matching oil and Texas-themed symbols to win prizes. These range from no trespassing signs (presumably hung around your oil field) to oil barrels, steer horns, and large piles of money. The more symbols you match, the more money you win, with the biggest prizes reserved for symbols like horses and the oil tycoon himself.

The real draw in Black Gold, though, comes from the game’s variety of fun and lucrative bonus features. Each of these games has a different way of mixing up gameplay – not to mention giving players opportunities to win some large prizes.

First up is a click me game that’s known as “Drilling for Oil.” If you match three or more drill symbols anywhere on the screen in any spin, you’ll instantly be prompted to click one of the symbols, which will reveal an instant credit prize. While this game is very simple, prizes as large as several thousand credits are available.

As with many other Betsoft slots, there is also a free spins game. In the Nighttime Free Spins Mode – activated whenever you hit three or more barn symbols anywhere on the reels – you’ll earn a variable number of free spins. There’s an added bonus in that the barn symbol will become a wild symbol for these free spins. Not only is the barn wild, but it will also act as a multiplier, increasing the value of your wins. Each time the barn is used to create a winning combination, the value of the multiplier increases, up to a maximum of 10x.

Finally, there’s a Higher or Lower Bonus Round that can be reached whenever the player hits three or more oil pump symbols anywhere on the reels. This simple game has the player guess whether the next number displayed on an oil well will be higher or lower than the last one. Each time the player guesses correctly, they’re rewarded with prize money. Guess right (or wrong) a total of four times, and the game ends.

As with most Betsoft games, lots of work went into the presentation factors for Black Gold. There’s a goofy soundtrack that fits the cartoonish nature of the slot machine, while the animations and graphical style will seem quite familiar to those who have played Betsoft’s 3D slots games before.

Black Gold was released at the beginning of March, and should soon be available at all Betsoft casino sites – just make sure to check out our casino reviews before joining a site.
